Manual ACH or Wire Transfer

As an alternative to using the bank account linking, we support deposits using a user-initiated ACH transfer or a wire transfer. This can be initiated from your bank or financial institution using the details available from the Deposit button on the Portfolio page or the Account Profile page.

Important! For wire transfers, please include your name and Straits account number (480#####) in the memo field. Straits hold customer funds in an omnibus bank account in the brokerage's name, and credits you based on your name & account number attached to the deposit (usually called a memo / reference / further credit to). Your Straits account number is available from the Deposit page. For ACH deposit, Straits matches the your name on the sending financial institution's account to your Straits account.

Note that ACH deposits usually take a few business days to arrive while wire transfers typically are processed by the next business day.
